Come Back Alive: Strategic Challenges in Wartime Ukraine

In cooperation with the Ukrainian non-governmental organisation Come Back Alive, the Swedish Defence University invites you to a seminar on 4 June on the strategic challenges of the war in Ukraine.
The seminar is an opportunity to gain insight into how an NGO like Come Back Alive operates in a wartime context and the role it plays. The full-scale war in Ukraine has exposed the challenges of strategic thinking, planning, and execution, particularly in terms of resource mobilisation, information management, and leadership. During the seminar, we will offer a conceptual discussion focusing on understanding how strategy works and why it sometimes fails.
The seminar is moderated by Pär Lager, Senior Course Coordinator at the Swedish Defence University. The keynote speaker is Mykola Bielieskov, Senior Analyst at Come Back Alive.
In addition to the keynote speaker, the following participants will also contribute:
- Taras Chmut, CEO
- Anton Muraveinyk, Head of the Analysis Department
- Kate Leshchyshyn, International Partnership Manager
- Valeriia Soloviova, International Partnership Manager
