Soldier-Scholar Conference 2026

The second edition of the annual Soldier-Scholar conference will be held on 17–18 September at the Swedish Defence University in Stockholm.

The core objective of the conference is to promote research relevant for professional military practices (such as warfighting, strategy and tactics, military organisation and profession, military leadership, military technology and defence planning), and to foster a strong international network of soldier-scholars.

The deadline for proposals is 16 June. Registration for the conference is open from 16 June to 1 September.
