- Aida Alvinius is Professor in Leadership and Command & Control and Programme Director of the Master’s Programme in Leadership and Command and Control for Crisis, Defence, and Security. Her research focuses on crisis leadership, sociology, and organizational dynamics, with particular attention to hypergrowth within the Armed Forces. She also conducts research on crisis leadership in public administration, as well as on gender and crisis management in female-dominated professions. With a strong research profile in military sociology, leadership under stress, and the social dimensions of crisis management, she contributes to both academic knowledge and practical applications in defence, security, and public-sector contexts.
