About Jessie

Engelsk beskrivning om dig själv: Jessie Jern is a Doctoral Student in War Studies at the Swedish Defence University. Her PhD project explores military recruitment in esports and gaming landscapes.

She holds a MSc in War Studies from the University of Glasgow, a MSc in Global Studies and a BSc in International Relations from the University of Gothenburg. Before joining the Swedish Defence University, she assisted a project in Peace and Development Research at the University of Gothenburg and a project at the National Center of Competence in Research at the University of Neuchâtel.
